Privacy Policy for MuscleWiseAI

MuscleWiseAI ("the App", "we", "us") is a fitness and workout-tracking application operated by Bülent Tolga Öncüoğlu (Entorion Teknoloji), İzmir, Türkiye. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the App, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Summary

• You create an account to use the App (email/password or Sign in with Apple).
• Your profile, workouts, body measurements, community posts and messages are stored on our servers so they sync and are available to features such as trainer (PT) support.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time (see Section 8).

2. Information we collect

Account information. Name, email address and a unique user ID, created when you register. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may share a private relay email address instead of your real one.

Profile and fitness data. Fitness goal, height, weight, age, experience level and similar preferences you enter.

Health-related information. During onboarding you may indicate injuries or body regions you want to protect (for example lower back, knee, shoulder), or confirm that you have no such limitation. This is health data and is used only to make your training plan safer. Providing it is optional; you may select "no limitation" or skip it. We record the date and time of your declaration.

Workout and measurement data. Workouts, exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, workout duration, notes, and body measurements (weight, body-fat percentage, circumferences) and optional progress photos.

Community content. Posts, captions, tags, likes, follows, comments and any photos you choose to publish in the community feed. Content you post is visible to other users of the App.

Messages. If you connect with a personal trainer (PT) in the App, the messages exchanged between you and the trainer.

Purchase information. If you subscribe to MuscleWise Pro, we receive subscription status and transaction identifiers from Apple through our subscription provider, RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card details; payments are processed by Apple.

Photos and camera. With your permission, the App accesses your camera or photo library only when you choose to add a profile picture, a progress photo or a community post image. We do not scan your library.

Technical data. Standard technical information needed to operate the service (for example device type, app version, timestamps of requests).

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
• To provide the App's features: workout tracking, progress charts, body-measurement history, community feed, and trainer–client tools.
• To personalise your training plan safely, including respecting the injury/limitation information you provide.
• To manage your MuscleWise Pro subscription and unlock Pro features.
• To respond to support requests.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

4. Legal basis (EU/EEA, UK and Türkiye)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) applies, we process your data on the following bases: performance of the contract with you (providing the App), your explicit consent for health-related information (injury/limitation data), and our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service. You may withdraw consent for health-related data at any time by clearing it in your profile or by contacting us; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

5. Service providers and data storage

We use the following service providers to operate the App. They process data on our behalf and under our instructions:

• Supabase – database, authentication and file storage (hosted on cloud infrastructure in the European Union / United States). Your account, profile, workout, measurement, community and message data are stored here.
• RevenueCat – subscription management (receives your app user ID and purchase/subscription status from Apple).
• Apple – Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing, under Apple's own privacy policy.

Because these providers may operate servers outside your country, your data may be transferred internationally. Where required, we rely on the providers' standard contractual safeguards for such transfers.

6. Sharing of information

We share personal data only:

• with the service providers listed above, to the extent needed to run the App;
• with other users, for content you deliberately make visible (your public profile, community posts) and with a trainer you have chosen to connect with (your profile, workouts and measurements, so they can coach you);
• when required by law, court order or to protect the rights and safety of users;
• in connection with a merger or transfer of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data, workouts, measurements, posts and messages are deleted from our production systems within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations (for example purchase records).

8. Your rights and choices

You can:

• view and edit your profile and fitness data in the App at any time;
• delete individual workouts, measurements, posts or photos in the App;
• delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@musclewiseai.com (we will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days);
• request a copy of your data, correction, restriction or objection to processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority – KVKK).

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with access controls so that each user can access only their own data (row-level security). No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

10. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and the App Store age rating reflects this. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date; for material changes we will notify you in the App.
